Nothing can add to stress and anxiety more than guilt. Learning to control your guilty conscience can help you keep stress and anxiety levels low. Remember – guilt won’t take away your past actions, so dwelling on the past won’t help anyone. Learn from your mistakes, and move on. If you’ve done something wrong, feel good about the lesson you learned, and use it to improve yourself in the future. An attitude of learning and improvement is positive and healing, whereas guilt is negative and burdening.
Let it go. Both your guilt, and your stress.
